You’ll provide person-centered care, encourage independence, and ensure safety and dignity in every interaction.
Duties
- Deliver hands-on support with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility
- Foster independence and community involvement for individuals with disabilities
- Implement and adapt individualized care plans and behavioral strategies (BSP)
- Ensure a safe, respectful environment that protects individual rights and well-being
- Support individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other diverse needs
- Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Provide transportation and accompany individuals to medical, therapy, and community appointments
Skills
- Strong knowledge of behavioral support plans (BSPs) and home care practices
- Ability to assist individuals with mobility and personal care needs
- Proficient in goal tracking and implementing individualized support strategies
- Solid understanding of individual rights, person-centered advocacy, and HIPAA compliance
- Compassionate, reliable, and adaptable with excellent interpersonal skills
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Prior experience in DSP and IDD Coordination roles preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
