Role Overview
- Job Title: Dining Aide
- Primary Goal: Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe dining environment for guests while supporting overall floor and sanitation operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Table Maintenance: Promptly clear used trays, plates, cups, and trash from tables and counters.
- Sanitation: Wipe down and sanitize dining tables, chairs, and high chairs between guests.
- Station Upkeep: Empty trash and recycling bins regularly; sweep and mop dining area floors as needed.
- Guest Assistance: Help visitors find seating, answer general questions about the venue, or assist families and elderly guests.
- Supply Restocking: Keep condiment stations, napkins, straws, and utensils fully stocked.
- Safety Compliance: Report spills, broken furniture, or safety hazards to management immediately.
Qualifications and Skills
- Communication: Friendly customer service and basic English communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for long shifts, and lift up to 25–30 pounds.
- Reliability: Punctual and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Experience: Prior experience in a cafeteria or restaurant is helpful, but entry-level applicants are welcome.
