What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Technician position at At Home Mobile Xrays?
Responsibilities:
- Travel to assigned facilities or patient locations to perform ultrasound examinations.
- Operate portable ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
- Ensure proper patient identification, positioning, and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and upload completed exams for physician interpretation.
- Communicate effectively with facility staff, patients, and physicians.
- Maintain and care for ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow all company protocols, HIPAA guidelines, and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Certified Ultrasound Technician / Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent preferred).
- Experience performing diagnostic ultrasound exams.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile schedule.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to lift and transport portable ultrasound equipment when needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in mobile or portable imaging services.
- Multi-modality ultrasound experience (Abdominal, Vascular, OB/GYN, etc.).
