What are the responsibilities and job description for the ED RN position at At Home Healthcare?
As a Nurse you will:
- Work with patients in a hospital setting and provide them with an array of services
- Apply knowledge and skills in accordance with accepted standards of clinical practice to facilitate problem resolution and achieve individualized patient goals and outcomes
- Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct
- Deliver care in a manner that protects and preserves the patients dignity, rights, values, beliefs, privacy and autonomy.
Job Requirements
This job requires a person who can work independently, yet never forget that continuous care requires a team effort. Additional requirements include:
- You must have a valid State nursing license or a license from a compact state.
- At least 2 year of nursing experience in your specialty
- Ability to cope with the emotional needs of patients and their families
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Respecting the patient's privacy and maintaining confidentiality
- Current TN driver's license and automobile liability insurance
- BLS, PALS & ACLS Certification (Depending on floor)
- Current TB skin test
- You must be able to satisfy employee screening results (background check, drug testing, motor vehicle report, licensure verification, abuse registry, OIG excluded individuals)
- 2 letters of recommendation, resume & immunization records
- 2 References
- Pass a routine physical (Depending on accepted facility)
