What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver / Personal Assistant position at At Home Disability Service?
This position is for a Personal Assistant, or caregiver that is paid from the Illinois Department of Rehabilitation Services. I immediately need a Monday thru Friday person from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., but I am also in need of a backup or 2 to my current caregivers. Let me know if you are interested in the daytime position or a backup position.
There are two shifts I need help:
8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
I receive 196.5 hours of paid aid care per month, which averages to 6.5 hours per day. If you are willing to work more you can.
I need help with: Stretching, bathing, dressing a wound, getting dressed, transferring into or out of my power wheelchair manually or with my portable lift, changing my colostomy, emptying my night bag, making the bed, and some cooking and cleaning.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.84 per hour
