Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our office management system
- Verify insurance coverage and process billing information accurately
- Collect patient information and update medical records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers
- Assist with administrative support such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence
- Ensure the clinic or dental office maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare administrative procedures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in office software such as MS Office Suite or practice management systems
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
