The Goals and Challenges of this Role:
- Building outsource machining capacity with current vendors
- Expand our existing vendor base
- Work with leadership to develop outsource strategy based on requirements supporting the annual budget
- Manage flow down requirements and purchase orders
- Maintain vendor schedules and delivery dates and work with production planning to ensure seamless production flow
- Own the negotiation process
- Needs to be familiar with CMMC and ITAR requirement (basic knowledge)
- Other Duties as Assigned
What You Should Bring to this Role:
- Relationship Broker and Outsourcing Expert
- 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain role, preferably in manufacturing environment
- BS degree in Supply Chain, similar degree, or minimum 2-5 years experience in similar role
- Proficiency with MS office, and ERP/MRP computer systems
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information to executive management, customer, and vendors
- Detail oriented
- Time management skills – fixed deadlines on multiple projects
