Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Position Summary
At Ease Home Care is seeking a highly organized and proactive Scheduler to support caregiver recruitment, staffing, and scheduling operations. This role is responsible for maintaining caregiver schedules, filling open shifts, coordinating onboarding activities, and helping ensure reliable staffing coverage for our clients.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment where strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential.
ResponsibilitiesScheduling & Staffing
- Create and maintain caregiver schedules.
- Coordinate coverage for call-offs, schedule changes, and open shifts.
- Match caregivers with assignments based on availability, qualifications, and client needs.
- Communicate schedule updates and staffing needs with caregivers.
- Monitor staffing levels and proactively address coverage gaps.
- Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation.
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Recruit caregivers through job postings, referrals, and community outreach.
- Screen applicants and coordinate interviews.
- Assist with onboarding, orientation, and hiring activities.
- Maintain applicant and employee records.
- Support caregiver retention through regular communication and follow-up.
Administrative Support
- Answer incoming calls and respond to caregiver inquiries.
- Maintain organized employee files and office records.
- Assist with payroll-related scheduling verification.
- Perform data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Support office operations while maintaining a professional and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in scheduling, staffing, recruiting, healthcare, or office administration preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general office software.
- Experience with scheduling software is a plus.
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
