THIS IS A CONTRACT 1099 POSITION

At Ease Counseling, LLC is a private practice with two locations. We have an office located in El Dorado and another office located in Junction City on the state line between Arkansas and Louisiana. Clients from both states are able to receive services in the Junction City location. With the growing population of clients, we are seeking to hire an additional dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to our team in order to help decrease the amount of wait time for clients to be seen for the first time. This is a contract position with competitive pay and flexible hours. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals and families in both a school and office setting, addressing a variety of psychological and emotional challenges. This role requires a strong commitment to client care and the ability to work collaboratively.

Duties

• Implement and review individualized treatment plans for clients
• Provide clinical counseling services, including crisis intervention
• Establish open line of communication for individuals with mental or emotional disorders
• Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
• Provide a safe and supportive environment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support for clients
• Provide evidenced-based therapy including prevention-oriented therapy
• Stay informed about best practices in mental health counseling and participate in ongoing professional development

Skills

• Strong background in clinical counseling practices.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies.
• Abilibty to keep complete and accurate documentation
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas license (or be able to obtain AR License by Endorsement)
• *Dual licensure in both Arkansas and Louisiana is a preferred, but not required
• Clean background check
• Clean drug screen
• Positive attitude and genuine desire to help people
