We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney who is eager to develop a diverse legal practice and work closely with others on a broad range of matters.
Practice Areas
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in multiple practice areas, including:
- Real estate transactions and litigation
- Business and corporate law
- Banking and creditor rights
- Estate planning and estate administration
- Landlord/Tenant law
- Contract drafting and negotiation
- General business counseling
- Civil litigation
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda.
- Attend court appearances and hearings
- Assist with real estate closings and business transactions.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide practical legal advice.
- Work collaboratively with partners and support staff
- Manage a caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining excellent client service.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice law in New York (or ability to obtain admission promptly).
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior law firm experience is preferred but not required.
