Job Description Overview:

Our Advanced Electromagnetic Technical Division specializes in innovative electromagnetic-related signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) system design. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented recent PhD graduate to contribute to the development of novel signal integrity and power integrity technology using both AI and conventional SI/PI simulation tools. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to leverage your advanced knowledge and research experience in SI/PI simulation, work with cutting-edge technologies, and significantly impact performance and methodology enhancement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct advanced signal integrity and power integrity simulations.
  • Analyze simulation results and conduct in-depth studies for design improvement.
  • Lead research efforts on the improvement of simulation methodology, incorporating AI techniques.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes for the deployment of new methodologies.
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of electromagnetic theory and transmission line theory.
  • Knowledge in general AI/machine learning techniques, such as regression, classification, and neural networks.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required

 

Required Qualifications:

Years of Education

  •  MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience

  • Proven track record of research and publications in machine learning, signal integrity, power integrity, or related areas.
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in applying AI/ML techniques to signal integrity and power integrity simulations.
  • Proficiency in AI programming with Python and PyTorch for pattern recognition and generation.
  • Familiarity with 3D/2.5D electromagnetic simulation software (e.g., HFSS, SIwave, Sigrity, ADS).
  • Understanding of signal integrity principles, including impedance matching, signal reflections, crosstalk, and equalization techniques.
  • Knowledge of power integrity principles, including PDN design, decoupling strategies, and power noise analysis.
  • Fluent in Mandarin.
     

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily based in an office or hybrid environment
  • Requires sitting, operating a computer keyboard, telephone and other office equipment for extended periods of time
  • Some flexibility in working hours accommodating collaborating with teams in Taiwan.
  • Approx 10% travel both domestic and international.
