*This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days/week onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
*Local to the Richmond, VA area only, please.

Description:

• The Project Coordinator supports the procurement department by coordinating procurement projects, maintaining accurate documentation, tracking timelines and deliverables, and serving as a communication link among stakeholders.
   

Responsibilities:

• The Project Coordinator supports the procurement department by coordinating procurement projects, maintaining accurate documentation, tracking timelines and deliverables, and serving as a communication link among procurement staff, internal departments, and suppliers.
• This role helps ensure procurement activities move forward efficiently consistently and in accordance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
• The position also plays a key role in managing the procurement intake process coordinating workload and priorities and identifying opportunities to improve processes tools and workflows.
• The Project Coordinator will use SharePoint and other technology to organize information, improve visibility into procurement activities, and support efficient management of departmental resources.
   

Required Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• Coordinate procurement projects from intake through completion, by tracking milestones, scheduling meetings, and documenting decisions and action items, Required 3 Years
• Serve as a central point of contact for internal departments, procurement staff, and suppliers, providing timely updates and follow-up., Required 3 Years
• Manage procurement intake process to include review, prioritizing, &routing requests to procurement resource after discussion with Procurement Director, Required 3 Years
• Track project status, deadlines, dependencies, and risks using SharePoint, Required 3 Years
• Help develop and implement SharePoint tool for tracking intake and status, Required 3 Years
• Experience coordinating projects, processes, or administrative operations, preferably in procurement or a related business function., Required 3 Years
• Demonstrated ability to organize information and create tools that improve visibility, accountability, and workflow management, Required 3 Years
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through, Required 3 Years
• Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with Procurement Director, Required 3 Years
