Responsibilities
Provide Janitorial Services for the USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) Kentucky Area Office and Regional Laboratory in Frankfort, KY.
1.1 Hours of Service Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Services shall be performed during office hours with the least amount of disruption to personnel working. Saturday work is authorized for the annual cleaning of ALL floors only. Laboratory space is divided between an administrative section and working laboratory section which requires authorized access.
1.2 Daily Requirements (1st and 2nd Floors of area Office Space and Administrative section of Laboratory):
1.4 EVERY TWO MONTHS (1st and 2nd Floors of Office Space and Administrative section of Laboratory): Damp wipe restroom wastepaper receptacles, stall partitions walls, doors, windowsills and door frames ensuring the surfaces are free of dust, soil, stains, and streaks.
1.5 ONCE A QUARTER (working laboratory section) Mop and wax resilient flooring in the working laboratory section.
1.6 TWICE A YEAR (1st and 2nd Floors of Office Space and Administrative section of Laboratory): Clean interior and exterior building windows in the front of the building leaving no streaks, dirt, smudges, water and other foreign matter.
1.7 ANNUALLY (1st and 2nd Floors of Office Space and ALL Laboratory sections) Shampoo all carpeted flooring, such as office space, conference rooms, training room, etc. Strip and wax all resilient flooring. Clean inside and outside of all light fixtures, such as emergency exit lights, lighted signs, fans and blades, canopy lights, and wall mounted lights ensuring the fixtures are free of streaks, bugs, dirt, dust, grease, and other foreign matter. Dust, vacuum and damp wipe vertical blinds ensuring the window coverings are free of dust, soil, stains, and streaks.
1.8 Contractor Requirements: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, and tools to perform janitorial services as defined in this Statement of Work. All Contractor employees shall be provided a security badge which shall be worn at all times while at the facility.
1.9 Chemical Supplies: The contractor will follow applicable safety requirements and OSHA requirements for the storage and use of hazardous substances on KY AREA OFFICE and LABORATORY property. The Contractor shall be provided space for storing equipment, cleaning supplies, and products to refill dispensers. The Contractor is responsible for providing all cleaning solvents/products.
Qualifications
