Job Title: Gastroenterology Physician
Location: Bellingham, WA
Term: 26 weeks
Astrya Global, a San Diego-based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Gastroenterology for an Acute Care hospital in Bellingham, WA. Providers will work in both inpatient and outpatient settings and primarily focus on general GI procedures.

Qualifications of Gastroenterology Physician:
- Active MD or DO Washington License required
- BLS and ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- COVID Vaccine Required
- 2 years of experience
Duties/Responsibilities of Gastroenterology Physician:
- Provide gastroenterology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform required procedures including Colonoscopy, EGD, Flex Sig, Dilation, and General GI procedures
- See patients in a clinic setting and at a secondary clinic location nearby
- Perform rounding, admissions, and procedures as required
- Scope patients in an outpatient endoscopy center/ambulatory surgery center
- Fill outpatient hospital blocks weekly for patients not suitable for the endoscopy center
- Take 24-hour General GI call as required
- Manage an outpatient endoscopy center caseload of approximately 14-16 patients per day
- Care for adult patients 18 and older
