Physical and Mental Demands
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Fine motor skills are required for a variety of functions, especially for wiring components and performing detailed assembly tasks. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. For items over 50 lbs., an assisted device or help from a coworker is used. A variety of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the role and specific tasks, and is subject to change based on safety needs. Qualified applicants will have:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 Years relevant manufacturing experience or equivalent
- Basic math skills, including fractions and measurements
- Familiarity with portable power tools (drill, rivet gun, etc.) and machine tools (bandsaw, chop saw, etc.)
- The ability to frequently lift up 30 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Clear communicators both written and spoken
- Ambitious, detail-oriented, and focused on teamwork
- Give and receive constructive feedback with a positive, solution-minded attitude
