Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in on-site cleaning of high purity gas and fluid systems, as well as precision cleaning of components and hardware at the company's Cleanroom facilities. Astro Pak provides services to over 15 sectors including: Data Centers, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Aerospace, Semiconductor, and other selected Industrial markets. The company, founded in 1959, has performed on-site precision chemical cleaning in every State of the Union as well as several projects in Asia, continental Europe, England, Ireland and Mexico.Astro Pak is looking for an organized and proactive Associate Operations Coordinator to support daily operations and ensure smooth business processes at our location. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys keeping things running efficiently, managing details behind the scenes, and supporting a team-focused environment.Essential Duties / ResponsibilitiesPerform administrative duties for locations operational needs Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries and manage outgoing mail and freight Receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls Monitor supply stock of uniforms, Safety & Office equipment, and chemicals Assist with cost effective travel arrangements and scheduling Keep per diem log updated Review and correct timesheets for non-exempt personnel Accountable for tracking or maintaining department specific information in databases or systems May assist in coordinating technical training May support cross departmental functions Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to direct manager Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees. Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals All other duties as assigned by direct management Promote Astro Pak's Core Values QualificationsEducation/Training/Certifications: Must have a high school diploma and 2 years of job-related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related Experience: Ability to read and comprehend instructions with little direction. One year of demonstrated professional telephone etiquette for small to mid-size company. Previous experience creating, tracking, and expediting purchase orders highly desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide basic numbers. Perform these functions using units, American money and weight measurement, volume and distance. Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Great organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task. Salary and Benefits: The pay for this position has a base hourly pay rate of $25 to $27.
