Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in accordance with facility policies and professional nursing standards.
  • Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients while developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, blood products, and other prescribed treatments accurately and safely.
  • Monitor patient responses and communicate changes promptly to physicians and interdisciplinary care teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical record (EMR/EHR) systems.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, pharmacists, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, CMS regulations, and state Board of Nursing requirements.
  • Adapt quickly to new clinical environments while maintaining exceptional patient care standards.
  • Float to appropriate units within the scope of competency as required by the healthcare facility.

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, or specialty certifications as required by assignment.
  • Minimum of one year of recent clinical experience in the applicable specialty (two years preferred for some assignments).
  • Previous travel nursing experience is welcomed but not required.
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new facilities, workflows, and patient populations.
  • Experience using major EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or Medhost is preferred.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient-centered care while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Pay: $2,654.14 - $3,196.38 per week
