Service Porter

The Lot Attendant/Porter at Astro Ford is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the dealership's lot and service areas. This individual will also assist with the transportation of vehicles, cleaning and detailing vehicles, and supporting the service department as needed. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry located in D'Iberville, Mississippi.

Salary Range: $28,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year

Annual Base Salary Based on Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in the automotive industry is preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dealership's lot and service areas
• Assist with the transportation of vehicles for customer pick-up and drop-off, as well as for service appointments
• Clean and detail vehicles, ensuring they are ready for display and customer delivery
• Support the service department by retrieving and delivering parts and materials as needed
• Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure all vehicles are accounted for & properly labeled
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
• Assist with other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
