Quality Control Technician I

Be part of a hands-on quality team where you’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, compliant products, working directly with lab testing, production inspections, and modern quality systems in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment while building valuable technical skills and growing your career in quality control. Pay: $18-$20Schedule: M-F 8a-4:30pType of Job: Contract to PermanentLocation: Willowbrook, IL At this time, Astrix cannot transfer nor sponsor a work Visa for this position.Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Benefits Offered:Medical/dental coverage!Weekly pay!401k and PTO after 6 months!Great benefit package offered upon conversion! Quality Control Technician I Daily Tasks:Perform laboratory testing and in-line inspections to ensure raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products meet cGMP and SOP quality standards.Receive, sample, test, and release raw materials, components, labels, and finished products according to approved specifications.Maintain accurate laboratory and production records, including logbooks, material control, label control, and equipment cleaning documentation.Operate and learn laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, IR, UV, pH meter, viscometer, and lab balances.Support quality assurance and production teams by monitoring equipment controls, stability charts, and temperature systems, while assisting with customer complaint investigations and quality improvement initiatives. Quality Control Technician I Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent work experience1-2 years of GMP manufacturingLaboratory testing experience1-2 years of Quality experience  We strongly encourage candidates who have some of the skills to apply.
