Technical Writer I - Onsite

Location: Houston, TX - Seeking local only

Contract: 1 year contract with extension or conversion potential

Develop and maintain technical documentation for medical devices while partnering with R&D, Technical Support, and cross-functional teams. Create clear, accurate documentation for global distribution and ensure projects are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Create manuals, SOPs, work instructions, and training materials.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Publish content for print and digital media.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of technical writing experience, preferably with electronic or medical devices.
• Proficiency with Adobe, Flare, Oxygen, or similar tools.
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in a regulated environment (GMP/FDA) preferred.
