Scope & Summary
The Supplier Quality Engineer II supports and maintains the global supplier quality program, ensuring suppliers meet regulatory and company standards. This role leads supplier corrective actions, change control, nonconformance processes, and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee supplier quality activities, including performance monitoring, audits, and development
- Manage supplier issues (SCAR, CAPA, NCR) and ensure effective resolution
- Support supplier selection, qualification, and ongoing compliance
- Partner with engineering, quality, and procurement teams to address supplier-related risks and improvements
- Assist with new product development, validation (IQ/OQ/PQ, PPAP), and supplier-related projects
- Maintain supplier documentation, agreements, and quality system updates
- Participate in internal/external audits and conduct supplier site visits
- 3 years in a regulated quality/supplier management environment
- Knowledge of FDA QSR, ISO 13485, and related standards
- Experience with audits, validation, and supplier quality processes
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
