Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes by researching product requirements and designing, modifying, and testing methods and equipment.
- Enhance production efficiency through workflow analysis, space optimization, and equipment layout improvements.
- Ensure product and process quality by developing testing protocols, evaluating finished products, and confirming manufacturing process capabilities.
- Provide data-driven recommendations by calculating labor, material, and production costs and reviewing production schedules to forecast future needs.
- Compile technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing operational data and manufacturing trends.
- Support cross-departmental initiatives by responding to technical inquiries and offering engineering insights.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to keep manufacturing equipment fully operational, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and company protocols.
- Manage manufacturing data systems by developing and maintaining databases and relevant computer programs.
- Lead technician training and mentorship during the implementation of new processes and equipment installations.
- Stay current with industry trends by participating in professional workshops, reading technical publications, and maintaining professional networks.
- Contribute to team objectives by executing additional projects and tasks as assigned.
- Education: Advanced Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred Experience: Equipment installation and maintenance, electrical engineering applications, and sustaining PCBA manufacturing operations.
