Injection Molding Process Engineer II

Leads development, validation, and optimization of injection molding processes for medical-grade manufacturing, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency through scientific molding and data-driven improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, validate (IQ/OQ/PQ), and optimize processes.
- Apply scientific molding to improve quality and cycle times.
- Troubleshoot using root cause analysis and FMEA.
- Maintain compliant documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on product launches and improvements.
- Drive continuous improvement (SPC, DOE, Lean, Six Sigma).
- Support tooling and process changes via CAD interpretation.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or related field.
- 4–6 years injection molding experience (medical preferred).
- Knowledge of polymers, process controls, and regulated environments.
- Strong data analysis and communication skills.
- Scientific Molding training and/or Master Molder certification.
- Experience with decoupled molding, project management, and technical reporting.
- Detail-oriented with a strong quality and continuous improvement mindset.
