Job Title: Environmental Chemist

Location: Richmond, CA (Onsite)

Type: Contract (through March 2026)

Pay: $38–$45/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

Overview

Seeking an Environmental Chemist to support increased sample testing demands. This role involves conducting lab-based analyses related to air quality and environmental health using advanced instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing on environmental samples using ICP-MS, GC-MS, and SEM.
• Assist in air quality monitoring and sample collection.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment.
• Support mobile lab setup and field instrumentation as needed.
• Document results and maintain sample records using Excel and internal systems.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 1 year experience in an environmental testing laboratory.
• Hands-on experience with ICP-MS, GC-MS, or SEM required.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-throughput lab setting.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Hands-on training and SOP-based onboarding led by experienced lab personnel.
