Key Responsibilities
- Assist with air sampling and air quality monitoring in various settings
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain scientific instruments and air samplers
- Perform laboratory analyses using techniques such as:
- Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS)
- Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS)
- Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM)
- Conduct literature reviews to support scientific research
- Maintain lab cleanliness, equipment organization, and inventory
- Support setup and operation of instruments in a mobile laboratory
- Experience operating GC-MS, ICP, or SEM
- Prior experience in the environmental science industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Previous experience with laboratory instrumentation or environmental sampling is a plus
