Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute animal studies for evaluation of vaccine candidates
- Assistance of in vivo studies with handling, dosing, blood sampling, and necropsy of animals
- Coordinate and carry out in vitro procedures such as, bacterial culture, tissue/blood sample processing, and simple formulations
- Ensure high quality data generation and proper documentation of experimental designs, protocols, and findings
- Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences/related
- 3-5 years’ of animal work experience (mice and rats), dosing techniques (injections, oral gavage), blood collection, necropsies (organ tissue collection)
- Experience with in vitro techniques requiring aseptic technique (e.g., bacterial culture, tissue sample processing, simple formulations)
