Animal Research Assoicate

Our client, a trailblazing global pharmaceutical powerhouse, renowned for their expertise in developing and manufacturing a wide array of world-class pharmaceutical drugs, life-saving vaccines, and innovative animal-health products, is in search of an Animal Research Associate to join their dynamic team.

Type: Contract

Location: North Wales, PA

Pay: Up to $32/hr

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute animal studies for evaluation of vaccine candidates
• Assistance of in vivo studies with handling, dosing, blood sampling, and necropsy of animals
• Coordinate and carry out in vitro procedures such as, bacterial culture, tissue/blood sample processing, and simple formulations
• Ensure high quality data generation and proper documentation of experimental designs, protocols, and findings
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences/related
• 3-5 years’ of animal work experience (mice and rats), dosing techniques (injections, oral gavage), blood collection, necropsies (organ tissue collection)
• Experience with in vitro techniques requiring aseptic technique (e.g., bacterial culture, tissue sample processing, simple formulations)
