Opportunity to join an R&D Analytical Characterization team, supporting chromatography and wet chemistry testing of materials used in medical/surgical products. This role focuses on analyzing small organic compounds, additives, degradation products, and impurities in complex polymer systems.

Opportunity to join an R&D Analytical Characterization team, supporting chromatography and wet chemistry testing of materials used in medical/surgical products. This role focuses on analyzing small organic compounds, additives, degradation products, and impurities in complex polymer systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing using GC, Headspace GC, and U/HPLC-UV.
- Conduct full workflows including sample preparation, method execution/qualification, data analysis, and reporting.
- Investigate and report issues such as OOS/OOT results, instrument problems, and lab deviations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain analytical instruments.
- Document work in compliance with FDA/ICH standards and internal procedures.
- Communicate results clearly through written reports and presentations.
- Support preparation of technical reports and documentation
- BS, MS, or PhD in Chemistry (Analytical, Polymer, Organic) or related field
- ~1β2 years of relevant experience (depending on degree level)
- Familiarity with medical device or regulated environments preferred
- Strong foundation in analytical chemistry principles
- Hands-on experience with GC and HPLC instrumentation
- Experience with method development/validation (preferred)
