Responsibilities:
- Testing of in-process and final products
- Microbial testing for environmental monitoring
- Collecting air samples and testing
- Water testing
- Prepping and maintenance of supplies
- Operating lab equipment
- Ordering supplies
- Preparing media
- Cleaning glassware and running the autoclave
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree – Microbiology preferred OR Associate’s with microbiological experience
- Experience with microbiological techniques
- Plating samples
- Enumeration of bacterial colonies
- Gram stain techniques
- Experience with LIMS preferred
