Pay: $18/hr
Location: Tucker, GA
Schedule: 2 shifts available!
- Mon-Friday 12pm – 8:30pm
- Thus – Sat 12pm – 7:30pm
Type of Job: Temp to hire
Laboratory Technician daily tasks:
- Complete laboratory testing on incoming samples.
- Submit sample results to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform sample preparation including but not limited to: aliquot samples, spike and trace samples, prepare reagents, bottle samples, prepare concentrations, separation, sonication, liquid rack set up.
- Resolve discrepancies and anomalies to ensure samples are properly labeled
- Prepare general lab paperwork such as recording analysis results, tracking samples, bench sheets, and lab logbooks
- Wash lab glassware to prepare for next day
- Enter data in LIMS system timely and accurately.
- Register incoming samples as needed.
Laboratory Technician Requirements:
- A.S. or B.S. degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or related field preferred.
