Our client is growing Nutraceutical manufacturing organization and is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join their production team on the Swing and Night shifts! This role involves operating and maintaining complex automatic machinery to support production goals while ensuring compliance with quality and cGMP standards.
Located in Clackamas, OR
Contract to hire
Night Shift and Swing Shift available!
Pay: $25-28/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate automatic encapsulation and advanced packaging machines.
- Perform machine setup, changeovers, breakdowns, and minor adjustments using hand tools.
- Monitor production output and maintain optimal machine performance for quality results.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
- Handle materials, including moving, stacking, and loading products.
- Inspect capsules and packaged products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Complete accurate documentation per established guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Support maintenance and quality troubleshooting efforts.
- Train team members and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Respond to out-of-control events by halting operations until resolved.
- Perform additional tasks such as capsule polishing, hand sorting, and part washing as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma with at least 2 years of prior machining experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with machine operation.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
- Commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.
