Astrion is seeking a Launch Systems Engineer (LSE) supporting cradle-to-grave space launch and support operations with emphasis on strategic planning and stakeholder communication.

Astrion is seeking a Launch Systems Engineer (LSE) supporting cradle-to-grave space launch and support operations with emphasis on strategic planning and stakeholder communication.
Required Qualifications / Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or a related STEM field.
- Technical Level III (T3) certification a plus
- Minimum 8 years of space launch experience (preferably with OSL systems or similar).
- Extensive knowledge of NRO/OSL launch policy and procedures.
- Strong understanding of:
- Launch enterprise capabilities.
- NRO Satellite Vehicle (SV) launch interface, fueling, transportation, and processing requirements.
- NRO SV lifecycle requirements.
- NRO budgeting and financial processes.
- Develop and deliver briefings/assessments to various audiences, including senior government leadership.
- Support full life-cycle launch activities, from planning through execution.
Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
