Astria Health is seeking an Audiology Assistant to join our team! This position is located at our Sunnyside Astria Health Audilogy and Pediatric Therapies Center.
Shift: Monday - Friday, Day shift - More details will be discussed during the interview.
What you get to do every day!
As the Audiology Assistant, this position is to be delegated tasks and duties that are prescribed, directed and supervised by a licensed audiologist to allow the audiologist availability for more complex evaluative, diagnostic, management and treatment services that require the education and training of a licensed audiologist therefore, improving access to audiologic services. You will:
- High School Graduate or GED.
- One or more years’ experience working in an audiology clinic.
- Completion of on-site competency-based training within six months of employment
- One of more years’ experience in customer service or a clinical business environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft software products and systems.
- Oral and written fluency in both English and Spanish languages.
- High School Graduate or GED.
- One or more years’ experience working in an audiology clinic.
- Completion of on-site competency-based training within six months of employment
- One of more years’ experience in customer service or a clinical business environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft software products and systems.
- Oral and written fluency in both English and Spanish languages.
This position is identified as a non safety-sensitive position, however impairment while on the job would present a substantial risk of death. Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive compensation range for candidates hired into each position. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. This position is not associated with a union contract.
