Compensation: $55.00 / hour

Description

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of standardized and highly specialized analyses of tests in Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and/or Blood Bank.

What You'll Do

• Performs standardized and specialized laboratory testing across chemistry, immunology, hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology, and blood bank.
• Ensures accurate, reliable, and timely test results throughout pre‑analytical, analytical, and post‑analytical phases.
• Supports patient diagnosis, treatment, and clinical decision‑making through high‑quality laboratory services.
• Utilizes computer and phone systems to facilitate communication and workflow efficiency.
• Builds strong customer relationships while delivering a professional, positive, and empathetic service experience.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology / Clinical Laboratory Science / Biological Science or equivalent
• Current Licensure as a CLS in the State of California
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the hospital
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Must be willing to work variable shifts and overtime as required
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Ability to identify and distinguish colors

• The hourly rate is: $55.00 per hour
