Busy behavioral health office seeking friendly, dependable and hard working Medical Front Office Receptionist for a full time position.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Customer service experience (medical office experience is a plus)
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
- Must having working knowledge of computer and data entry.
- Ability to multitask and work at an fast pace are must.
- Previous experience to work for a medical office/hospital is essential.
- Working knowledge of EMR and HIPPA also required.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and assisting clients with scheduling and questions
- Managing provider schedules and filling open appointment slots
- Checking patients in and out throughout the day
- Collecting copays and handling basic financial transactions
- Verifying insurance and updating patient information
- Communicating with providers and keeping them informed of schedule changes
- Completing documentation and working within our EMR system
