LPN Early Childhood Program

Astor Services seeks a Part-time LPN to support the health needs of children ages 0–5 in our Head Start programs. 30 hours/week, Monday–Friday, summers off.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and respond to routine health concerns.
• Conduct daily health checks and basic screenings.
• Administer medications per policy.
• Maintain health records and ensure compliance with NYS, OCFS, and Head Start standards.
• Review physical and dental forms; assist families in securing any necessary follow-up care.
• Communicate health updates to families and staff.
• Support intake and promote healthy practices.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive, child-centered environment.
• Use basic computer systems for data entry and documentation.
