Aston Park Health Care Center is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled Assistant Administrator to help lead our vibrant senior services community.
Position: Assistant Administrator
As our Assistant Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Administrator in managing daily facility operations, always striving for the highest standards of quality service. You will ensure our residents receive compassionate care in a welcoming environment, upholding compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in hiring, training, supervising, and, when necessary, terminating personnel in line with official employment practices.
- Coordinate and ensure services are tailored to residents’ needs, promoting their well-being and comfort.
- Support budgeting recommendations, operational cost management, and sound fiscal practices.
- Lead marketing initiatives and materials to maximize resource utilization and community outreach.
- Maintain accurate documentation for resident care, business activities, and employee performance.
- Act as facility leader in the Administrator’s absence or during emergencies.
- Contribute to special projects for the smooth and orderly operation of the center.
- Demonstrate LSC’s mission, vision, values, and customer service standards every day.
Supervisory Responsibilities
You will assume supervisory duties as delegated by the Administrator.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of college; college degree preferred.
- Prior experience in long-term care required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Current Administrator’s license in North Carolina strongly preferred—or willingness to obtain through AIT program.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Office-based with extended computer use.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and move throughout the facility.
