Responsibilities
Hybrid environment after training, which will be fully onsite. Following training, you will work onsite 3 days a week. This role offers the opportunity to get involved with a leading company in the construction industry.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee sales & use tax compliance on a monthly basis.
- Review and improve existing sales & use tax processes, identifying opportunities for increased accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to accounting and purchasing staff to enhance understanding of sales & use tax requirements.
- Review purchase orders (POs) to ensure proper tax application and documentation.
- Monitor tax activities to ensure the company remains fully compliant with applicable state and local regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address tax-related questions, discrepancies, or process gaps.
- Assist with any audit support, documentation, or compliance testing as needed.
- 3 years of hands-on experience in Sales & Use Tax accounting or compliance.
- Strong understanding of multi-state sales & use tax rules and best practices.
- Experience reviewing POs for proper tax classification.
- Ability to train and coach staff at varying levels of tax knowledge.
- Process-oriented with the ability to identify improvements and implement solutions.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work onsite 3 days per week.
