Job Description
The Sales Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the Sales Department by analyzing data, coordinating sales activities, and providing insights that enhance sales and corporate strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and track sales performance metrics, including volume, pricing, revenue, materials, and scrap.
- Prepare and distribute comprehensive internal and external sales reports.
- Support the development of sales strategies, staffing plans, and lifecycle management processes.
- Manage special orders, pricing entries, regulatory documents, and coordinate services.
- Conduct research on market trends, government regulations, and industry developments, presenting findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Assist with customer meetings and information gathering, with limited travel required.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint, including formulas, charts, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable with computer-based work and occasional interaction on the shop floor.
- Customer service experience.
- Financial analysis proficiency.
- Experience with data management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and pivot tables.
- Sales analysis experience.
