Job Description:
The sales administrator/estimator is responsible for assisting the 3 Account Managers manage their workflow, and communication with clients. As they are getting busier and adding new clients to their portfolio they need additional support. This person will need to be familiar with adding/subtracting fractions, be able to read a ruler and do quick math to help generate quotes for their clients.
The Estimator or Sales Admin position performs the following operations:
- Utilize knowledge of available materials and processes to ascertain performance and ability to produce potential proposal
- Skilled in customer, vendor, and internal relations
- Produce formal quotes, re-quotes & worksheets
- Able to retrieve or provide pricing information
- Maintain & extract information from Access/JobBoss quote program, Update pricing in program as needed
- Knowledge of tooling resources and buy-out or service vendors and products
- Ability to operate company customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles and able to read part prints
- Use of measuring & calibrated equipment
- Process and ensure drawing control
- Research, retrieve and understand specifications
- Familiarization of customer information
- Maintain organization to ensure accuracy of communications & instructions
- Understand and complete paperwork as assigned
- Understand quality policies and procedures
- Understand safety rules
- Ability to complete other tasks as assigned
- Experience within a CRM system is a plus
Skills & Qualifications:
Knowledge -
- Education - Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience - Knowledgeable experience of jobs or duties assigned and requires minimal supervision
- Training - Between 1 - 3 years training in the job tasks required or transferable skills. Requires to read and understand technical/non-technical documents related to sales contracts. Must know Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Versatility : Can perform multiple tasks within one department, as well as, a few tasks in another department(s)
- Ability - Has skills or transferable skills of jobs or duties assigned and requires minimal supervision
- Precision - Needs minimal supervision and work is double checked for accuracy
- Efficiency - : Some efficiency with time and/or material usage In executing a process. Individual needs minimal supervision to keep on task
