Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage cost structures, pricing strategies, and margin evaluations to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain accurate labor and overhead rates in a standard cost environment.
- Perform detailed cost accounting tasks, including variance analysis and cost validation.
- Lead monthly financial close activities and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and corporate leadership.
- Facilitate regular reviews of key performance indicators and guide teams in executing improvement plans.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance across business processes.
- Coordinate and manage annual physical inventory counts and support audits from customers or government entities.
- Evaluate capital investment proposals and provide financial projections to support decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in financial analysis, cost accounting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in forecasting, financial modeling, and financial planning and analysis.
- Strong experience in month-end financial processes and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle).
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA is a plus.
- Experience supporting capital investment decisions and ROI analysis.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.Plant
