Qualifications:
- 1 years of call center experience required
- Seeking someone who demonstrates empathy, and is an active listener
- Experience within Healthcare is preferred (enrollment, eligibility, claims processing, collections, reimbursement, insurance verification, high-volume etc.) or RELATED FIELD.
- Must be available to work an 8-hour shift, in a call center, stationary environment
- Must meet internet speed requirements (will be tested)
- No-time missed during duration of training 4-6 weeks.
Job Overview:
- Research, resolves, and documents patient inbound and outbound calls involving a wide range of issues utilizing multiple information systems. This includes communications with internal business centers and external customers.
- Assure customer agreement by summarizing and closing each call appropriately.
- Investigate payment status and determine ultimate patient financial responsibility.
- Collect outstanding balances, offering patient assistance with financial responsibility through various financial options.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity in accordance with Health Information Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), and company policies and procedures.
- Exercise good judgment, interpret data, and remain knowledgeable in details of all related company contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives maintain teamwork, customer service production and quality standards to assure timely, efficient and accurate call resolution.
- Minimize patient dissatisfaction with active listening, maintaining a professional tone, and acknowledging their concerns.
