Job Title: Parts Sales Associate
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Parts Sales Coordinator to join our growing team near downtown Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will manage sales orders, inventory, pricing, and customer communication to ensure smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Answer client requests via phone and email to process sales orders.
- Check inventory to determine parts availability.
- Provide pricing information for parts to customers.
- Quote clients for parts.
- Give lead times and updates on expected shipment and parts.
- Collaborate with procurement to order additional inventory.
- Coordinate with service team members to ensure parts are readily available when servicing equipment.
- Assist with other various tasks within the operations team as needed.
Essential Skills
- Strong customer service skills.
- Experience in parts management.
- Proficiency in computer software (training provided).
- Good job tenure, with a minimum of one year in previous positions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Good customer follow-up skills.
- Experience working with parts.
- Experience working in similar roles (e.g., Napa, Autozone, Advanced Auto).
Work Environment
This position is onsite from Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm, with a 15-minute morning break, a 30-minute lunch break, and a 15-minute afternoon break. Limited overtime may be required.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
