Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned aerospace accounts, building trust through proactive communication and technical reliability.
- Manage the full 'quote-to-cash' process, including entering complex orders, monitoring production lead times, and coordinating with the logistics team for timely delivery.
- Navigate challenges such as supply chain delays or shipping discrepancies by using the escalation process to engage factory leads and logistics teams for rapid solutions.
- Develop a deep understanding of aerospace product lines, primarily specialized seals, to assist customers with basic technical inquiries and part identification.
- Work closely with Sales, Planning, and Quality departments to ensure customer specifications and compliance standards are met for every shipment.
- Contribute to team coaching sessions and process improvements to help the department hit key performance indicators (KPIs) and growth targets.
- 2 years of experience in order entry and customer support.
- Experience with purchase orders and quoting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze shipping schedules and production data for accurate customer updates.
- A proven track record of handling high-pressure situations and adapting to changing priorities.
- Experience in the aerospace industry is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP.
