Job Title: Manufacturing Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Ormond Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial excellence by analyzing business performance, ensuring cost control, and maintaining accurate financial records. This on-site role reports to the Business Controller and will collaborate closely with various teams to support the company’s financial goals. The candidate MUST HAVE ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE EXPERIENCE IN A MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT AND BE ABLE TO INTERPRET ACCOUNTING REPORTS AND EXPLAIN TO FINANCE TEAM SO THEY CAN MAKE PROJECTIONS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and monitor manufacturing costs to identify variances and trends.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize resource allocation and reduce waste.
• Reconcile balance sheet and ensure all financial records comply with accounting standards and company policies, including intercompany transactions.
• Evaluate financial performance and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against business goals.
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and implement improvements.
  
  

Essential Skills

• Accounting and finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret accounting reports and explain to finance team for projections.
• Cost control and financial analysis experience.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliation, and journal entry.
• Experience with process improvement and systems expertise.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data manipulation and macros.
• Experience in SAP is preferred.
• English language proficiency.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.
  
  

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a financial analyst role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field, or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in developing Power BI is a plus.

This is an on-site role at the manufacturing facility in Ormond Beach, FL. The position reports to the Business Controller and involves collaboration with various teams. Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41.00 - $41.00/hr.
