We are looking for a professional and experienced loss prevention specialist to join our team!
Work environment: Luxury retail within the SFO international airport
Status: Full TIme
Description:
- The Loss Prevention Officer is part of the support team responsible for protecting company assets.
- Maintain surveillance of the store to identify potential areas of loss.
- Monitor building premises and/or shop floor by performing regular security checks.
- Ensure all staff members and customers are in a safe and secure environment.
- Audit POS transactions and cash variances.
- Conduct security checks on merchandise at checkpoints and ad-hoc checks on employees.
- Monitor CCTV and security alarm equipment.
- Ensure that potential shoplifters are monitored appropriately and that all shoplifters are dealt with in accordance to company policy and procedures.
- Protect company from any legal liabilities by handling situations in the most appropriate and professional manor.
- Report any accident/injury, or hazard in the workplace to a manager or the on site representative using the appropriate systems and logbook.

- MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in loss prevention, security, asset protection, or another related field of work.
- Ability to handle individuals resisting for theft or other unlawful behavior.
- Able to appropriately and professionally address situations with unruly or disorderly individuals.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
