Description:
- Develops and executes the global Associate Relations strategy for the organization
- Advises and provides support to Human Resource partners and leaders on a variety of
complex Associate Relations matters including, but not limited to corrective action,
disciplinary action, and performance management
- Leads investigative work related to policy violations including, but not limited to retaliation,
discrimination, harassment, and other work-related matters
- Conducts HR investigations to include creating an investigative plan, conducting interviews,
drafting findings, and communicating outcomes with stakeholders
- Trains new HR leaders on the Crane NXT Way of conducting investigations
- Counsels on position eliminations and terminations as needed, including preparation of
required documentation
- Owns tracking, analysis, and report-outs on enterprise-wide Associate Relations metrics
- Serves as subject matter expert regarding the interpretation, administration, and compliance
related to company policies
- Identifies training and policy enhancement opportunities; creates and delivers training to HR,
leaders, and associates
- Responsible to stay current around best practices to ensure Crane's practices are up to date
and consistent with company values
- Maintains a thorough understanding of state and federal employment law; responsible to
use sound judgement when escalating matters to Legal
- Provides guidance to the business regarding matters and negotiations related to Unions and
Works Councils
- Develops protocols and supporting communication for COVID or COVID TYPE-related issues
- Provides guidance and project management on EEO-1 and AAP reporting and OFCCP audits
- May assist with accommodations as needed
- Draft and implement associate handbooks and policies
- Supports Corporate Functions as an HRBP for an employee base off approximately 100
associates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations,
Employment Law, or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years of Human Resources experience in a professional environment with
significant experience handling a broad range of Associate Relations matters
- 5 Years direct experience in Associate and/or Labor Relations
- Experienced with investigations and managing an associate hotline
- Strong knowledge of employment law
- Highly analytical with a metrics orientation
- M&A experience preferred
- Strong technical skills including proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
