What You’ll Do
- Set up, configure, and delete voicemail boxes and related phone system items
- Respond to and triage requests via email and phone support channels
- Create and maintain documentation that is clear and easy for anyone to follow (step-by-step guides, FAQs, process notes)
- Perform data entry and updates in ticketing systems to ensure accurate request tracking and follow-through
- Communicate with internal employees to gather details, confirm needs, and provide updates
- Occasionally coordinate with vendors as needed (rarely external customers)
- Previous administrative experience (preferably supporting an IT team or technical department)
- Strong written communication skills with proven ability to write documentation others can easily understand
- High attention to detail and ability to handle ticket data entry accurately and consistently
- Professional, helpful customer service mindset—most interactions are with internal employees
- Comfortable juggling tasks and shifting priorities as volume changes day-to-day
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure (basic understanding of cloud concepts, Azure portal exposure, or working alongside Azure-based teams)
- Prior experience supporting telecom/phone systems, voicemail administration, or unified communications tools
- Experience working in an ITIL-style environment (incident/request tickets, SLAs, etc.)
