We are looking for a Fraud & Claims Representative to join our team! This position would be with a well-known Financial Institution in Hillsborough, OR. The Fraud & Claims Representative will Support fraud and claims, by proactively identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, and offer ideas to mitigate risks through effective authentication of customers in order to prevent fraudulent activity.

Description:

The Day to day duties of the Fraud & Claims specialist include taking a moderate volume of inbound phone calls regarding card disputes (this is a call center environment). Typical disputes are regarding over charges, double charges, incorrect product/services, fraud-related questions, which will be transferred, and potentially re checking on the status of an existing claim

Will use 3-4 computer systems at once; must be able to type notes while on the phone with customer

Duties:

  • Support fraud and claims functional area by proactively identifying opportunities to improve customer experience, and offer ideas to mitigate risks through effective authentication of customers in order to prevent fraudulent activity.
  • Perform moderately complex customer support tasks by utilizing solid communication, verbal and written, skills to establish rapport with customer and to deescalate difficult, as well as sensitive information as a part of resolving a claim.
  • Receive direction from managers and escalate non-routine questions.
  • Oversee multiple claim types, and take appropriate action to decision the case using multiple systems and applications.
  • Interact with colleagues on required information as well as external and internal customers through inbound or outbound calling.

Pay Rate: $19.11/hr

Duration:  3 Contract to Hire (we are looking and open to permanents!)

Start Date: 6/5/23

Location:  Onsite (HILLSBORO, OR)

Training Schedule:  First 4 weeks, M-F from 8am to 4:30pm

Hours:  Office hours, M-F 8:30 - 4pm - must be available to work 1 weekend day

Top Skills:

  • 2 years of Customer Service experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • Call center, inbound call, customer support, service,
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office, customer service call center,
  • Retail, cashier ( With good tenure)
