Job Description
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for auditing cash reports and preparing the daily bank deposits for the university. This role includes running required jobs, performing tests, analyzing and researching errors, and posting adjustments. You will also be tasked with posting contracts to student accounts, assisting with departmental training, and updating desk manuals for cashiering procedures. Additionally, you will participate in special projects as assigned by the supervisor and provide accurate information to students, parents, and other departments via phone or in person.
Responsibilities
This position requires working full-time on-site from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. You will have the opportunity to support a long-term open-ended contract with a large local university, including six paid holidays. There is potential to apply for permanent roles and convert after six months

Responsibilities
- Audit cash reports and prepare daily bank deposits for the university.
- Run required jobs and perform testing.
- Analyze and research errors, and post adjustments.
- Post contracts to student accounts.
- Assist with training departments.
- Update desk manuals for all cashiering procedures.
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
- Provide accurate information to students, parents, and other departments via counter or phone.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in higher education.
- Proficiency in basic Excel.
- Experience with cash application and accounting.
- Experience with student accounts and financial aid.
- Experience in higher education is highly preferred, but experience in local government due to state requirements is also considered.
- Familiarity with the BvA or Colleague ERP systems.
