Job Description
The Benefits Specialist is responsible for administering benefit programs, overseeing the disability plan, conducting benefit orientations, and processing employee terminations and status changes in the HR system.
This role involves working with benefit vendors, coordinating wellness initiatives, researching and resolving benefit issues, and assisting with Open Enrollment and ACA compliance. The Benefits Specialist will also conduct annual benefits webinars and maintain employee benefit files.
The ideal candidate will have experience with benefits administration and HRIS systems, proficiency in Excel, and a minimum of 2 years of experience within Human Resources with benefits experience. An Associate's Degree is also required.
